Varieties and breeds of Jungle Python

Hello Everyone,

I'm about to get a jungle python (as a first snake), however I am overwhelmed at the range and variety of the jungle python

I was wondering if someone could outline the different varieties and breeds of the python, as well as recommend one

Also, I want to get the smallest snake possible, is there a way to determine that I get a smaller python rather than a larger one?

There are different locality's such as atherton and Cape York the black and gold and high yellows are most sought after I believe. mine are supposed to be from tim faulkners line of jungles which develop a nice gold/yellow my girl has some nice colour coming through and is 11 months old most will not develop full colours till 18 months of age or more, sizes generally vary from 6-8ft.
