Need advice on my Coastal carpet python.

I have an almost 1 year old Coastal Carpet Python. And it seems to only poop when i hold him, he won't poop in his tank much, he's probably pooped on me 3/4 of the time i have had him and 1/4 in his tank.. He doesn't seemed to be stressed or anything, he has no reason to be stressed to what i know, i hold him probably almost every 2 days, if not everyday, for about 10 minutes.. anyone know what might be the problem?

nothing is wrong when they move around it tends to get them going after a few minutes put him on the grass or wake him up a few minutes prior to handling
