PVC and frogs?

I have some PVC flooring lying around, and rather than go and buy some pond liner, I'm thinking I could use it as a pond liner for a small pond in an enclosure I'm putting together for some frogs. I'm worried that it could leach chemicals into the water, especially as I'll behaving a UV light in there to grow plants (but no heating, I want Southern Brown Tree Frogs). Should I just suck it up and get some proper pond liner, or would the flooring be OK?

UV light will cause the PVC to deteriorate over time, though I'm unsure as to if it would leech chemicals into the water.

You should be fine, as long as the pvc is not heated. Over time it would probably need replacing as the UV light will make it brittle, but it shouldn't be a problem.
