Ahahaha! Sounds fun...for us at least...Not nearly as much fun as a 9 iron though.
I think the "inhumane" issue is more when the toad is placed directly into the freezer, and is not cooled in the refrigerator for a few hours first.

When placed directly into the freezer the water in the body starts to freeze before the toad to dies, which is very painful. It is a similar scenario to frostbite in humans. If the toad is cooled in the refrigerator first, they go to "sleep" and don't feel the pain of the freezing process.
