Basking spot lighting

Hi guys,

Just curious what others are using for heating their basking spots? Exploring alternatives to the regular spot light globes from Bunnings. Had some luck with Nelson 50 watt flood lights (better temps with half the wattage), but the spread isn't as good.

you used to be able to buy spot lights with varying spreads- spots and floods. Try an actual lighting store to see if they still make them .

I know it means re-wiring, but an alternative is several GU10 halogen lights. Cheaper to run, and having several will give a monitor a good basking spot.
