Does any one know of any problems that could arise from keeping water dragons and blue tongues in an outdoor enclosure together? Oh, there is a turtle in the mix.

the water dragons will most likely kill any babie blueys if they breed prviding you don;t take the bluey or water dragons out. and if the water dragons breed and u don't know that the female lays and they hatch as slow as a bluey can be the can catch and eat a young water dragons.

i am yet to have any problems with my water dragons and blueys, the eastern beardie was very stand offish to the water dragon and trys to fight it because he is dominant but never wins. ol the water dragon is way to quick.

they do pretty well together, some times ive noticed female waterys nipping at newborn blotched blueys, for peace of mind its not a bad thing to remove female blueys around birth time,in regards to water dragons hatching out side, yes blueys would eat them if they can catch them, but of more concern is the adult water dragons, which will happily eat them

In most cases they tolerate each other. There are times when one may bite the other, but it's rare in my experience. I guess it could also depend on the size of the enclosure. Mine was 4m x 4m and the Water Dragons and Blueys both had their own areas that they stuck to. Also, they tend to have different hides and sleeping areas. Blueys will go in hollow logs/ PVC piping or under metal sheeting, whereas Water Dragons tend to sleep on high branches or in the water (during summer, anyway).

the guy i brought my water dragons off kept bluey's and water dragons in a large outdoor enclosure.
he would remove any gravid bluey's so the young weren't eaten, and same with the eggs of the water dragons when they were laid in or on the sand as blueys would eat the eggs.
like richardsc said, they may nip once in a while and if there is any major or constant disputes separate the individuals.
i saw no scars on his bluey's and all seemed fine together

if the water dragons are little dont do it no matter what size the bluey is it will eat them i put a blury in with my 2 water dragins and he almost ate them both so yeh wouldnt rekomend it

that'd be 1 of the instances where size would matter
