I think click clacks are fine for some species providing you do your research and are able to maintain the correct husbandry. If cost was not an issue I think most keepers would prefer to house snakes in vivarium's (when they reach a certain age) but sadly especially with some of the more rapid growing species it would cost you a fortune if you were a breeder. For me the whole idea of having snakes is so that you can see them so viewing them through a constant opaqueness does not really float my boat. The very mention of click clacks as with housing snakes together always stirs emotions within the reptile community but at the end of the day its a personal choice. This said I thing attempting to maintain as natural an environment as possible for the snake is a number one priority for me so that's why I would always prefer vivarium's when snakes get beyond a certain age.

As per the enclosure you provide in your link providing there were loads of hiding places so the animals felt secure I would not see an issue. Cannot help but think they are listing the incorrect weight for this item though.

Kindest regards

I would totally recommend a wicker birds nest that you can buy for finches, as a hide for higher up in the enclosure. My coastal loved it, and used it until she could no longer fit in it. Even when she couldn't fit, she still used it but half of her would hang out one of the holes. She never messed in it, and it was a real nice feature for her enclosure.
