He ate the Paper towel - ok?

I used to feed my SwCarpet python on a piece of newspaper, but that stuff is getting pretty rare these days so lately it's been a piece of paper towel.
Fed him an adult rat just now and checked to see how he was going with it after 5 minutes or so , only to see the paper towel going down the chute too.
It was just one of those textured, uncoloured cheap kitchen paper towels and I'm almost certain it won't cause harm, but I also don't think reptiles could digest paper and if so it'll make a hefty poop..... Am I overly worried?

paper towel shouldn't hurt him, most will be digested,it's a different type of paper from newsprint. But newspaper isn't that rare, they still print daily and sunday papers plus a lot of local papers are free if you don't want to buy 1
