Funny that, my hatchling stimmies keep striking at me through the tub but when iget them out they are fine, the levis on the other hand sit there and smile at me then when i got the two hatchies out they both tried to bite me and i`ve had their mother hanging off the end of my finger on more than one occasion. I think the levis have a little bit of evil in them

Aha so it's an evil grin they have !

Great stuff mate :) Very cute little babies :) I told you those girls were bargains! :) Did you get one of the ones which was already gravid?

Don't expect them to stay dark though, levis levis from my line usually turn out with vivid colours (which probably won't disappoint you! ;) ).

She wasn`t gravid when i got her but i think you said she laid a clutch a few days before you sent her up. I think them two would be from your mating so thats why i`ll be keeping this clutch for some different blood line from my male, the female still looks awsome! she is a machine - i have another 4 clutches in the incubator from her! By the end of this season she has paid for herself and some. :D

Very nice, how much do these guys go for? :)

Hypermelanistic -so they'll go really dark then?
No, hopefully they will go a nice red/ orange colour like their mum. The title was just an attention grabber. Sorry Bob, i know that was slack of me ;):D

Very cute geck82.

When mine hatch, they look similar but like Sdaji said, it doesn't take them long to 'lighten up'. Do you have many other clutches cooking at the moment?

I'm not trying to be pedantic but hyper means over or beyond (as in hypertensive for high blood pressure) and hypo means below or under (as in hypotensive meaning low blood pressure). Describing them as hyper melanistic indicates they will develop a high level of dark (melanine) colouration. An easy mistake but the meaning quite different. Now a jet black levis may be in great demand!

Thats cool, hyper is what i meant ( increased melanin), Opposite to the castelnaui`s your working on. Hyper or hypo i think would be in great demand and if we could produce an albino line over here like they have overseas that would be awesome! Albino snakes are becoming more readily available now and i hope gecko`s will follow suit.
Has anyone heard any rumours of any examples of albino gecko species here in Oz?
