hey i have got brown tree snakes to eat, live Zebra finches, mice scented with fish, lizards, and birds. so give that a shot and best of luck. i once found a wild juvinile tree snake inside which i was going to release and whilst in my possession i managed to get it to feed on wild mouse hoppers that had tacken up residence in a gouldian finch nest box. Best of luck and wish you all the best with your experience with this amazing coloubrid.

I keep quite a few colubrids (that have been wild caught on permit non feeding) They can be very stuborn for some time then all of a sudden something clicks in thier brain and they start chowing down the food. As its a brown tree snake use a freshly killed mice, (use a mouse the same size as the BTS head). A trick is to use a stimulant, and the best way to do that is misting. Late in the afternoon spray the enclosure and a little in its hide, then later on at night ei: 8pm try offering the snake the freshly killed rodent, if it does not grab it,leave it in with its hide until the next morning. If this does not work try again the following week.

Why dont people actually read their licence aggreements?

Why live feed ...... :evil::evil:

Because it is way more fun. Get a few mates around,throw on a bit of Bezserker, get intoxicated and feed the pretty snake a pretty birdy. Isn't that what keeping snakes all about?

Moose, the secret to get them onto carrots is to scent them with butterflies- pretty, colourful ones It takes a lot of timeand patience to get them onto zucchinis.....Let me know how you go.
