Hi saw on the mouth of my knobtail(levis levis) last night what looked like a sore her top and bottom lip was rolled back abit and had a white dry lookin skin around it. It is only small atm but want to stop it before it gets bigger. Any ideas??
Mouth rot or not???

Hey m8, it sounds like he may be shedding, usually mouth rot leaves a cheesy substance round the mouth and the animal may drool, i'd keep a close eye on it though. Hopefully it would go away in a couple of days, maybe try increasing the temp or see a vet? Best advice i can give for ya,
Thanks for that tried to take a pic but cant see it in the pic it doesnt look as bad as last last night but she has abit of drool around her lips its only on one side of her mouth. is there anything that i can put on it to help out with it or just best to leave it for now?
