Looks good, gourgous enclosure.Ours cost us $850(just enclosure) its 4 and a half foot x two feet x 2 feet. Can stick enclosures on top of each other and they look good in lounge.Like big cabinet.
We just got our beardies on saturday.2 yellow phase,4weeks old.gourgous things(I think) I want more.I have a two yr old son,he just want to get in enclosure wit them lol.
I think maybe juv might be better for a ten yr old,he can hold him straight away but then again if he wants to learn frm the start and be a daddy to a newborn,GO for it.
I know that everyone has missed the importent bit bout CALCIUM and MULTIVITAMINS but then gain you could already know that frm gecko(do geckos gotta have it too.see I aint smart either).
When feeding the crickets don't forgot ta give em a sprinkle of calcium every time feed and multi-v's twice a week.
I can't say much I'm still learning myself but i do read alot and so does my partner.
There pooh comes out brown/black,with wat seems to look like a white worm on it too. This mean they are getting there calcium.
And don't be stressed if they look like they scared of crickets, they are just settling in,(this is wat happened to ours, didn't see them eat for 3 half days. They must of but cos there no cricket in there lol)after stressing for that look, they dn't stop.so feed em as many crickets they can eat in ten mins.Have fun and wish him luck this time.
Channy
Thats a huge big enclosure Channy, very nice.
Do you have your beardies in the big enclosure yet? What substrate are you using, looks like sand, (hope im wrong, but its hard to see in that pic though)
Do you feed yours in a separate tub? Im getting a beardie soon (when I find one, im after a red phase in Vic, as I dont want to freight) hopefully within the next 3 weeks. Have the enclosure pretty much set up except for some bits and pieces also.
I think feeding crickets will be the hardest part of it all, I dont like creepy, crawly, jumpy insects. lol
