just wondering where someone under the age of 18 can obtain references for the advanced license in Victoria? i will need 2 of them? who do you have to get as a refrence, can it be anybody, or a registerd person or something?

has it changed or something? i got my advanced at 16, didnt need any referances.... is this for keeping vens? if so it is different and i think you do need references.

yer for keeping vens, for a bts. can you just get anyone to reference it?

BTS is hardly regarded as a ven, you shouldnt need a reference, GTS are on a basic, and they arent any less venomous. but from what i know regarding vens and licensing under 18, is you have to have atleast one reference from someone that says they believe you have to skills to handle the snakes.(snake catchers are good)

na, i rang up he dse and they said it was classed as a ven, i'll righ up again tomorrow and find out who can reference me

last time i looked (not that long ago at all) you could keep bts on a basic licence......

no the brown tree snake is a schedule 4, which is advanced
