Hi all,

I did a search but can't find the details I was after. Can I take Christinus marmoratus off their artificial heat this time of year (I'm in Sydney with typical inside temps). I'd like to make room for more geckos that do need heat (pair of U milli).

Thanks

I'd say yes, you can take them off heat this time of year. I do and I'm in Adelaide, had absolutely no problems. U. milii dont like heat though, so this time of year i wouldn't worry about heat for them either, its not a must. I only have one line of heat cord down one end of my milii tank, just so there is a weak thermal gradient, mainly for my gravid females for egg development.

why would u heat u. milii at this time of year if you have "typical inside temps"?

Good point. Too many things going around in my head with the beardie due to lay and getting the incubator steady. :)
