hi every one.. ok so heres the problem. I have a 7 foot jungle python, age unknown. I have recently noticed she has a few damaged scales. I hope u can c in the picture. there is exactly 18 on her body. the skin isn't red or enflamed, theres no under skin lumps or bumps. no fluids excreting. however lately (last 2 weeks) I have noticed that her scales seem to lift easier then I have ever noticed. no shes not in shed and she isn't dehydrated nor does she live in a moist environment.
her enclosure contains no sharp or spiky objects, her branches are smooth and burr free. she has gone off her food, hasn't eaten in 2 months. I know the feeding isn't a problem but she has never turned down a feed in 3 years. her temperament hasn't changed and she shed perfectly 2 days ago..
enclosure is as follows: 24 degrees cold end, 33.5-35 degrees hot end. humidty levels vary from 65% to 75%. theres no where for her to get stuck or caught.
any advice will be appreciated.
And im taking her to the vet tomorrow anyways just so cause I want her to have a check up even if this is nothing..
Thank you
anybody? heaps of people looking but any one got ideas?
