Hello.
Aquired a 5ft coastal about 3 months ago and she just hasn't eaten since. she looks very emanciated and weak . she, (cause she laid eggs 6 weeks ago) looks skinny and doesn't seem to have the strength to attack the prey when put in her cage.
she is in with a 5 ft jungle, they get on well hence eggs.
Used to eat live rats, don'rt havwe reliable source, tried frozen, not interested. m moving them to a new area at risk of stressing more because feel it is a better spot.
just new at this and it seems to be a lot of triawl and error, like having a human baby!!! guess work!!!!
would love to get to know more and listen to you experienced ones.
any suggestions at getting her eating?
thanks

'They get on well hence eggs'..sigh.
Sounds like she is stressed. Remove the stressor and she'll eat.

Seperate them.
She hasn't eaten in 3 months because the was gravid.
Seperate them and she'll start eating again.
Oh and before I forget, seperate them.

Not sure how to take your reply.
What is gravid?
I am hoping this is as friendly welcoming forum where people share info and help each other out.

Hey don't mind them gravid means is carrying fertilised eggs and there right about seperating the male it's best not to have them together unless it's breeding season and you want em to breed. Jump on Google and look up doc rocks guides on southern cross reptiles great info in there and welcome to the forum :)
