Hey all,
my ewd's are now on a healthy eating plan induced by myself.
they have been eating dogfood and pink mice/rats as treats... they have been refusing any vegies that i have been offering!
i decided enough was enough when i saw my big boy sitting in the sun with his BIG belly flat out on a log!
although i have been offering veggies they have been refusing them and basically eating only the dogfood for a while now.... too long i should say.
while they love it, it is not good for them.... its like us eating only maccas or hj's.... we would love it but its not good for us!
so i made my own food up for them and they love it!!!!
i used human grade roo mince, chicken breast, broccoli and cauliflower.
blended the roo mince and the vegies together in the blender and chopped the chicken breast into small chunks and added after the other ingredients were blended. then i froze into small patties and now i just get one out the freezer, cut it into small bite size pieces and thaw....
they love it!! finally getting them to eat veggies without them knowing! woowoo!
just thought i'd share!
cheers!
