i have a friend who lives on Bribie Island and today while walking on the beach near her she found this snake and took some photos
can anyone identify it for her please?

A yellow - bellied sea snake, Pelamis platurus.
He was rescued from a beach in Port Stephens wased ashore due to the stronge seas.
