high temp

My boys heat lamp, ceramic light fixture and thermostat blew a few weeks ago, so I’ve managed to rig a heat mat up in the enclosure. There’s a tile on top of it and newspaper, but part of the heat mat goes to 44° and the other sits at around 34°. Is this ok til I get a new thermostat? I can try...
