Questions about Jungle Pythons life in the jungle of Queensland

Yo all.

I was wondering for a life of a Jungle python which lives in the jungles of Queensland......

What is the water temperature there on their healthiest active season?

When the pythons starts to shred their skin they go in the water, which waters do they enter to shred... rivers, lakes, ponds or water holes in which mosquitos breeds?

What is their skin made out of ? I was wondering if they were to shred in rivers, maybe fishes would be eating their dead skin to help them shred easier.

Do they eat fishes ? Hunt them down from a branch thats over the water or coiled up in the water while in shredding mode and..... "BOOP !" an unsuspecting fish once in a while?

When an adult male coils up, what is the approximate size of its diameter?

How heavy do slim healthy adults weigh?

And i read somewhere that pythons are almost blind... they sense by flicking their tongue.. is this true ? and if it is, so lets say if you walk by with a glass in between you and the snake, can they sense you there through the glass or do they see you at that distance or both ?

I am curious and i "Thank You" in advance because if i keep saying thankyou to "you";) .... and everyone that helps me with these questions, it'll make me feel funny inside, and others will see it and find it weird too... ( i think ) ....know what i mean?

Thanks
Kenny :D
