a further hint, it's known as 'caesars ....' - if you want to use google to solve it that will do it for you

I didn't think that was how ceasers cipher worked? I thought it was letter substitution rather than rearrangement.

I have never heard of caesers box, I just assumed the caesers cipher. Well Done!
