Hi all,

I have a conundrum I need to solve. Zephyr and I will shortly be travelling from Melbourne to Cairns on Qantas. I need to drop her off at AAE two hours before our flight. We're going to have to travel to the airport by taxi.

I know the domestic terminal is a little way away from AAE - and might almost be the moon with the kind of luggage I'm going to have with me. The easiest thing to do would be to get the taxi to wait, but that could get pricey. I'm wondering if there's another way to do it.

Does anyone know if there are luggage trolleys available at AAE? It would be difficult but not impossible, and I'll have plenty of time before my flight. The other option I can think of is to check in first - if I can check in that early - and walk Zephyr over to AAE once my baggage has been taken off my hands.

Can anyone puncture a hole in that plan or think of anything else?

Thanks,
Renenet

Be careful about dropping luggage off too early, the airlines have a habbit of loosing it if that is the case. Dropping the snake off at AAE shouldn't take long, Id just get the cab to wait.
