I want to get ADSL, does anyone recommend any speciffic ADSL modem?

Yeah, just use the Speedtouch 510 that you get with the bigpond kit. Works a treat for me.

how much they worth, theres a big pond kit on ebay for $30?

If its got a modem, grab it dude! the modems are worth about $150

I use a D-Link ADSL modem, works well. I think you get that in the optus package.
