Hey guys I'm just after a bit of advice from breeders.

I've gone away for placement for university and my partner is looking after my reps and he's accidently mistaken my instructions and has fed one of my boys that has been cooled and breeding. The temps he has is 30 degree hot spot during the day and 20 degree hot spot during the night. Are these temps sufficient for him to digest the food and continue breeding or will he need the temps raised 24/7 and finish breeding this year.

Any advice is appreciated.

I'm not too keen on having no heat on at night... I've had two pythons with RI this year (mind you both within 2 weeks of receiving them so have put it more down to stress than heat probs) and don't want anymore getting sick... They're spotted pythons and I've heard they don't require as much of a drop in temps to breed so will test out how it goes this year with the 20 degree hot spot during the night...

my childrens pythons temp gets down too 17at night with no problems with mating either

thats enough heat for digestion. i cool some of my snakes with no heat and down as low as 10deg

thanks guys... I will get my partner to keep an eye on him to make sure he passes it through
