This months meeting will be held on Wednesday 23rd March starting at 7:30pm at the Austalian Museum. The speaker will be Jeff Hardy.

Jeff represents National Parks & Wildlife NSW. He will speak to us about forthcoming reviews of the licensing system and the very interesting changes taking place. Jeff will also willingly field questions on any possible thing you would like to know regarding the current laws and proposed changes. Not to be missed.

There will be a small competition held at the meeting. Bluetongue Brewery is producing a series of coasters with facts about Bluetongue Lizards. They are giving AHS members the opportunity to have a say in what goes on the coasters by asking us to supply the facts. Each entrant is to submit a card with the five most interesting facts about Blueys they can think of. The entry judged MOST INTERESTING by Bluetongues judges will win a carton of the Bluetongue product of their choice!! Naturally those under the age of 18 years cannot enter the competition. You can only enter the competition by attending the meeting.

Visitors are welcome to attend our meetings and should be advised:

* There is a small entry fee of $5.00 per repeat visitor. This includes three tickets in our lucky draw.

* First time visitors will not be charged.

* Children 14 years and under will not be charged

I went to the last one where Gerry Swan gave a slideshow on the fauna protection relocations from the trenches of the mackay to townsville methane gas pipeline. It was great, i recommend if your available and live near sydney, to go. You'll meet many of the industries finest including federal rangers and herp vets, they are a great bunch.
Oh and Everyone say Hi to Andrew Peterson AHS News Editor, for me.
