What I don't get is the video of the Green Iguana's in Florida where those 2 invasive pests are left to 'warm' up so they can be on their way.
Is the population of Florida really so stupid as to not 'bag em & tag em' while they are in this state?
Some people might not like the idea of killing something.
Example we have two cats. One is a good hunter. She'll bring us gifts. One day she bought in a fairly big skink. She'd punctured it's stomach and guts were hanging out. It was reluctantly killed to put it out of it's misery. Tried to do it in the most painless way possible - rock - smash head. Felt terrible, even tho you know you're doing the right thing. A few months later she brought in another in a similar state - it would not have survived. Did not have the heart to do it again. Put him out in the garden. He re-appeared a few days later as an empty husk near the front door. Ants had already picked him clean.
Still - bag and take to animal control. They'll do the dirty work for em.
