Have read lots of those..and apparently they are all true. Random facts that you learn.

Women blink nearly twice as much as men.
No word in the English language rhymes with "MONTH."
Almost everyone who reads this email will try to lick their elbow. lol .... Yes

I can lick my elbow, just not when it is bent :D

Very interesting. Thanx!! ;)
HAHA!! And just so u know, i DID try to lick my elbow!!

>No piece of paper can be folded in half more than 7 times.
NOT TRUE. It's in the Guinness World records. Some girl did it by taking a REALLY long strip of paper. Mythbusters did an episode on it too.

>Apples, not caffeine, are more efficient at waking you up in the morning.
You need to eat quite a lot of apples to get the same effect, though.

>A duck's quack doesn't echo, and no one knows why.
Of course it does. The laws of Physics says it so. Mythbusters also did an ep on this.

>It's physically impossible for you to lick your elbow.
I've seen it done :p

>No word in the English language rhymes with "MONTH."
Or orange, or silver or purple.

>"Go," is the shortest complete sentence in the English language.
Followed closely by "I am."

And oddly enough I just bumped into this site, completely by accident

>Elephants are the only animals that can't jump.
I dont think so...
I know they can't jump, but I'm pretty sure there are other animals that can't jump. I think the Hippo is on that list too.

It's mostly to do with the physiological make-up of the animal, combined with it's weight, that makes it impossible to jump.

LOL cool, I wasn't having a go just thought you meant that they can jump :D

Anyway now people can have a read about elephants:rolleyes:

the earth spins clockwise or anticlockwise depending on which pole you are watching it spin from...
as does venus (though venus does spin the opposite way to earth)....

"No piece of paper can be folded in half more than 7 times."
this is untrue as well you can only half anything once after that its folding it into quarters then eighths and so on.:p

I don't imagine snails make terribly great jumpers either
