1 year ago today Darlyn, my partner, was lost and dying of thirst on an island off Arnhem Land. link-http://www.aussiepythons.com/forum/chit-chat-39/relief-171787/

Today she is back on that Island doing the do. For this I thank whatever God that claims responsibility, but mostly I thank Lynne for her tenacity and will to live and for never completely giving up even when everything said she was a goner.

As she was dying she was worried about me, her boss, and everyone else she was letting down by releasing the ghost. Typical.

I love you so much mate. That ghost is still in its cage.

We'll rattle its cage next week out at Garig Gunak Barlu. You're the best.

Happy Aniversary

Aw, Steve. I had a tear in my eye reading that. May you both keep your ghosts in your cages for many, many years to come.

Bloody hell.... it's been a year already!

Thank some deity you're both still here. How else would I get my fill of Northern beauty?

Always wear bright coloured underwear. :D

Oh hey Darlyn..... love ya tenacity!

Happy Aniversary to you both, I wish you 50 more.
I hope she packed her pink undies Steve.;)

Ditto all the above mate; you're my favourite couple:)!

I think a cup of that life saving elixir is in order today
or atleast a beer Cheers

Beer it is!

Lynne is at the same fishing camp with the same clients who the cops wouldnt let join the search because they didnt have the nouse for travelling that country and would have become casualties themselves.

I would love to be a fly on the wall there this week. Lynne can really dish it out :)

There is a young fella missing in Arnhem Land at the moment. They found his bogged quad bike but cant find him. Hopefully there's water nearby (he did get bogged) but it is hot as hell out there and he has been missing since Wednesday. I really hope they find him alive.

Bugger, they found his body in the mangroves this morning. Tragic.

Aw shucks guys thanks for the kind remarks.

The punters caught an average of 30 barra a day each, so the system is very healthy.
Also they only keep what I cook.
Brilliant place if you have enough to drink : )

Thought i might share some pics of my work colleagues

All mushy now, damn u!

Just finished a txt to the mrs letting her know how much i love her. Epic story, thank you

WOW a year already ! unbelievable,

I cried when i read the original thread a year ago, and you have me teary all over again Steve.....

Good to hear you are still doing what you love (both of you) and you have the ghosts well and truely locked up.

You are both very lucky people, although i dont know that luck had a lot to do with it, it sounds more like Lynne is a stubborn female who refuses to the be a 'victim' . - bit like me :p

Onya Lynne, you're a woman I would hold up as a positive role model to any of the younger girls on here. (and some of the older ones too :)

I raise my glass and give three cheers to both of you. :D

Three cheers to you too Jax : ) ..runs to fridge...

Treeofgreen little bit of mushy never hurt anyone : )
