Anyone have experience with Arafura file snakes?

Hi everyone,

I'm doing an assignment which involves designing an exhibit for an Australian species so I chose the Arafura file snake since I didn't know much about it. From doing research there's really not a lot of information out there on them! So just wondering if anyone has any experience with them? The main points that I'm really lacking information in is the actual size of the enclosure required for the snake, any lighting thats required and information on filtration systems that are required.
Any information would really be helpful.

Send me an email at [email protected] and I will forward you a care sheet that was produced by Melbourne Zoo. But in regards to your question, an adult pair can be kept in a 1.8 metre aquarium with ease.

You could also try contacting Melbourne Zoo...they have been keeping them for a while.
