Hello,

We have 5 strophurus ciliaris, 4 females and 1 male, all are over a year old, 1 female is too small for breeding but the other 3 are all a good size.
We recently purchased the larger 3 females, they are 2 years old I believe.

We introduced our male a month and a half ago and they didn't exhibit any signs of breeding, we took him out again for 2 weeks and reintroduced him a few days ago, but he still doesn't seem interested.

We have mostly knob tails and this is our first time with strophurus of breeding size, I've read the gecko book about them and it doesn't mention a weight, but our boy appears to match the criteria to breed.

I'd really appreciate any help or advice to get these guys breeding.

Thanks heaps,
all the best,
Angil.

Ciliaris is actually a species complex. There are about 4 unnamed sp. top end cil's are twice the size of some of other members of the group. Both husbandry and breeding cues are different for each.

cheers
scott
