Tis so awesome...

Actually, I am waiting for Tintin too (my other childhood readable 'books').

I used to have so many of them... But you know, I have tried to get my daughter into them... But she's not that interested... It's all Twighlight and High School Musical... Bleh...

These kids don't know culture - even when it bites them on the behind!

I dunno, mine love Labyrinth and Who Framed Roger Rabbit, in saying that they'll demand to watch Star Trek: The Next Generation over a lot of kid's flicks any day and be totally absorbed all the way to the end as well. Being only 2 and 4 that does surprise me a bit, and makes rainy days a whole lot easier on the system without having to sit through crap lmao.
They've worn out the first two, we need to hunt about for them again. Dark Crystal they're still a little young for; tried it once on my daughter but I forgot about how the villains appear to kids and she had a few nightmares :/
Above all though they'd rather be outside, but I'd like to get the comics and put them aside for when they're older. Maya's got such a random and rather mature sense of humour for a 4yo so I reckon she'd be cool with them, kids can surprise you though...

Hey, I got my daughter into Dr Who (I tell you now, the Weeping Angels is so damned awesome)... But reading Astrix... just can't do it...

She's good with movies - she says, "Dad, I prefer to watch movies by myself than listen to you groan." - so I am happy with that :) (but she's 11 - yours will begin to get a mind of their own soon too).

Oh for sure, Maya's already becoming a belligerant little madam. Her father's worried about boys when she's a teenager; I'm worried for them ;)

I would like your posts, but I can't 'like' a child not being into Asterix. It's sad and unacceptable :p
