For those of you who are afflicted with Attenboroughphilia (or Attenboroughmania), there are two good offerings on the ABC this weekend:

Life on Air, a documentary hosted by Michael Palin about Attenborough, celebrating his 50 years of broadcasting. Based on his autobiography of the same name. This was originally screened last year but if you missed it (like me - in the NT at the time), here's a second chance. Saturday Night, 7:30pm.

The Amber Time Machine: Attenborough looks at amber, and all the secrets to the past it holds. Never screened in Australia before. Sunday at 7:30pm.

Looks like good viewing this weekend!

p.s. Im particularly facsinated with occlusions in Amber, i hope they show that rare lizard occlusion. Awesome stuff, like going back in time, really sparks the imagination!!
