MMMMM... it is nice to see that the U.S government is finally going to spend the money and do something about this introduced species...

I for one hereby nominate "THE GURU" of australian herps as the sole contact and buster of these snakes.....As his knowledge of australian herps is so awe inspiring

Perhaps the U.S government could setup a website on behalf of "THE SNAKES" and therefore one would be able to send a email stateing that they should hence forth remove themselves from guam

seems point less to me, there wouldnt be any way i can see to get rid of them. id put that money towards stopping them spread
 
If they do succeed in getting rid of them perhaps they can sort out our cane toad situation.
 
you would think that the BTS of guam would starve soon.. their is just nothing left for them to eat, no birds left for them to kill... i guess maybe some kind of skink population or something but hard to imagine a skink population could support the BTS that are their. does anyone know how they are surviving?? I had thought, and from being there myself, that the bird population on guam is non existant now except from migratory waders on the shorelines.
