Australia's yellow spotted monitors

Hi all, I just literally stumbled across this news article while having my morning coffee, for some reason it appeared in my Australian turtle news feed... normally I'd just scroll right on past anything lizard/monitor related however I read this and was blown away... it was only released a few hours ago, a very interesting read for anyone who's into yellow spotted monitors!

I remember reading about this a few weeks ago and been blown away. Might have been shared by Tom Crutchfields page. I'm glad Argus keepers have found other methods in captivity to breed rather than having 20ft worth of substrate haha. Would have been incredible to discover.

Far out, that was very interesting. There are several reptiles which puzzle me in terms of where they hibernate and make nests. This was a big surprise, and I hadn't even thought much about this species.
