thats silly your 'advertising' there herps technicaly
you should ask them to pay you!!!!!
lol

Go for compensation Neven. Charge them your hourly rate for advertising their reptiles. you could make a fortune. LOL
P.S. was there anything on google saying you can't use that particular photo, if not, then maybe it should.
Even better, let URS sue you and then you can counter sue google for allowing you to download it.

lol yeh i reckon i gotta case... seen that i copied from the thumbnail google provides... however that thumbnail is a link to their site... dissapointing isnt it...

I agree. I go to an Australian wide mountain bike website. Sometimes they run advertising very similar to the banners on this site. They had an ad for a bike shop, and it used an Xray of my knee next to the caption "Are you hardcore enough?". They had not asked my permission to use it, so I asked them to take it down. They did.

Mountain bikes eh sxe. I like mountain women  , are they like mountain bikes. LOL

Neven,

Seeing that you have wanted to bring this to every ones attention here and not keep it PM.
I will explain it to you here. Yes all of our picture's are Copyright.
We do let a number of people use them but only when they have had the courtesy to ask us before using them.

We are a business here it cost money to by camera and set up webpage pay electic, staff and lots more.

We all so have sold a number of our pictures to people around the world who have wanted to use them.

So when someone can not take the time to to ask permission to use one of our pictures I will ask for it to be removed like any other company would!!

I suppose Neven, you can't complain. URS has a point! Just do what I do and treat your avatar like your underwear - & change it everyday! lol

THANK GOD YOU DO THAT

We always warning people to make sure that they use they own articles or pictures.
It is not cool steel stuf on Internet. I know that Newen did not ment it, but he should ask first if he is alowed to use that picture.
It is no good to winge about that when you are cought LOL.

If I can use work of others with out permissionon this site, we would have great caresheets. But we have to go by rules and wait till we get some donated, or when people do write some for us.

If the picture is provided by Google (or any one else) as public domain, then legally you can use it. If not, you can't. I think that anything posted on the web is assumed to be copyrighted to the creator unless otherwise specified. Of course, I could be wrong..... it has happend before (1963, I think it was!) :)

lol you make it sound like im a criminal URS.
copied strait from google when you have no sign on the picture sayin it is yours. bit tough buddy. i agree with what your sayin that it is unfair how some people must buy pictures off you and i scabbed one for free. but seriously i dont ask permission to every site that i copy a picture from strait from google. and its an avatar. like sxereturn said about taking the photo of his knee i totally agree with him about as they public advertised his knee. im using a picture as an avatar bit of a difference. but any ways its off

Ramsay this article was donated by Spilota chick. Looks like that is here article and she can publish it in more places.
