I take it you wouldnt go to the tattoo mate?

Its only the second time in history they have done the show anywhere but Edinburgh.

So i will be honoured to see it in australia tomorrow night!

LOL sorry mate, didnt mean to hurt your feelings.
But isn't a bunch of blokes in skirts waving battons and playing baypipes whilst marching?

Lucky bastard!!!

those tickets are damn expensive

I'd be going if I had the cash

I bought tickets for the oldies to go, my old man loves that stuff. My Grandfather was a bandmaster in the army when he was alive and I think it reminds my old man a bit of him when he sees them in action.

Well,
I went to the show last night, and to sum it up in one word i would have to say "Spectacular"!!!

My favourites for the night were the New Zealand Army band and a close second was the Swiss drums.

The kiwi band did some great songs like the theme to Austin Powers, along with a mid routine Haka!!! To see guys doing the haka with huge bass drums strapped to their frontsides was a hoot, and at the end of their routine, to take the p1ss, they played Tie me kangaroo down and the trumpeters were hopping around like roos, it was very entertaining.

The swiss drums were just fantastic, theres no describing the things they were doing with the drums and drumsticks, not to mention the amazing sounds that were coming from them.

All in all, it was a great night and i was honoured to see such a once in a lifetime oportunity!!.

The big sherm rating would have to be a 5 out of 5!!!

I was the percussion leader in the Hunter Region's own "Marching Koalas" high school band.

We went to USA and New Zealand while I was a member, also a Europe tour that I didn't attend. Apart from that, we went all over the place locally and was really great experiences over 6 years.

 I went on Wednesday night (to the performance they put on for the Tsunami appeal), and I must say I thought it was excellent too. The NZ's were great. My favourite is always the Bagpipes but they had some awesome military soloists. They did a great job and it was bucking down with rain and they didn't flinch.

The only downside was the bloody parking at Moore Park and when I say bloody it was exactly that. It took 1hr and 15 to actually get out of the car park, only one exit stupid B******s!

Wow! Sounds like it was awesome, you are the ballot man! Very lucky indeed.

Who did you give the other ticket to? You should have invited that sexy young Melbourne girl you met recently ;)

Was her name Sdaji???

No, although I'd like to meet a girl named Sdaji, that would be really scarey.

Oh! You were refering to me! Sorry to break this news to you, but I'm not a sexy young girl :(

She was younger and much sexier than I am. She was also a lot more female! (although I still say my hair is nicer!)

You idiot! ;) ;) ;)
