Ok now I have done the thread search etc etc and it has answered some of my questions but any help on the follwoing would be appreciated. I am picking up a 2 and a bit week old inland beardie on friday week. Now I have fake turf for substrate and branches and rocks etc for him to climb on. I have a reptisun10.0 fluorescent tube and a pulsating thermostat with a light fitting. My main issue is what to use for heating. I would preferr to use a ceramic heat emmiter as they last longer and I can get them cheap. I also beleive they provide a more ambient heat rather than direct as my enclosure is 6ft but 2ft by 2ft and glass. Is a ceramic heat emmiter ok for a beardy basking spot? Also how often should juvies be fed? I keep pythons no probs but this 4 legged stuff is freaking me out lol. I'd rather ask questions then lose the little guy due to bad husbandry.
Cheers,
