Just to let you know this is now my favourite movie of all time, and I've seen a few. Highly recommended.

I think it speaks volumes about the human condition, freedom, and the necessity for connection with the environment.

Completely knocked my socks off.

won Cannes won Sundance, released 2012. I'm pretty sure a quick google will give you everything (sorry, being lazy...it is Oz Day.

A very good human interest film, that I really enjoyed.
I did feel that the "beasts" seemed incidental and the story would not have suffered if they were not in the film. (other than a non functioning title)
The young girl that portrays "Hush puppy" was adorable and I can see a successful future in acting for her.

The story behind the cast, crew and production of the film is quite interesting as well.
