I need help deciding what needing to use I don’t want one that smells as i keep them in my room, I’m currently using news paper but it doesn’t hold moisture well if they poo the whole enclosure gets humid

I use chipsi snake, aspen chips and fake grass.
The chipsi & chips are good to use esp for my womas as they can dig in it, but it does get all over the carpet & in the door tracks of the enclosures. Also can go mouldy underneath if your snake like to tip its water over.
The carpets are on fake grass, recommend you put cheap puppy pads underneath to absorb wetness. When needed the grass can be hosed off & dried in the sun & the pads changed. Easy.
