Hi guys,

Tried doing a search as I know various techniques for gaining your feisty little friend's trust, or at least a degree of tolerance, have been discussed, but couldn't find anything. Can someone point me to some relevant threads, or share some tips?

Cheers.

Patience is number one. Plus making sure you try and make eye contact with them each time you put food in the enclosure or change the water. It doesn't hurt to pick it up for very short times; it will squirm and hiss, but leave it a little longer before you put it down each time.
Tong feeding also helps to gain its trust.
Our two flavi's are at the point where they still hiss and carry on when we pick them up, but tolerate it, and don't try and qriggle out of our hands. They also know our hands when it's feeding time, and have never tried to bite.
