Axanthic and het Axanthic Black-headed Pythons available from two clutches. Feeding on suitably sized mice and rats. The term "Axanthic" refers to a genetic (Recessive) colour mutation where by skin pigments responsible for reds, oranges and yellows, which feature strongly in the typical wild phenotype of this species, are absent. The result- only the darker pigment of varying shades of browns and black remain. This look combined with the trademark snow-white background makes for stunning results. The Axanthic BHP is one of the most spectacular morphs available on the market today. With its distinct lack of yellow and red pigment, the result is a stunning contrast of dark brown banding over an almost pure white back ground! Some have to be seen to be believed!
