I know we have a few members on here that keep both birds and reptiles, I was hoping to ask if there are any safe mite sprays for birds that work, but won't harm reptiles, having read Pyrethrin is not a good plan. Also chasing a good wormer brand. We recently found a lost Lorikeet and are housing him until we find his owner, if we still haven't found them in a few months, we are looking at keeping the little one long term.
The animals are housed in separate areas (reptiles in a room, bird in the main living area), however there will be air transfer between them and most of my animal bathing, enclosure cleaning and water bowl washing etc. is done in the laundry. I am wanting to avoid possible chemical transfer that might make my reptiles ill...
Any advice would be really appreciated, this is all a bit new for me, we never had plans for a bird. Thank you!
