got home this arvo and went to move the lizards back inside after they had spent the day outside only to find my female shingleback is bleeding.
she has blood on her mouth and when she opened her gob to hiss at me i could c it on the inside as well. a fair amount of it to and it looked fresh (was a really bright red colour)
i checked the 2 bluies and the male shingle and none of them have any signs on them that there has been a fight or anything. can they bite there tongues? any ideas?

how bad is the wound? ...there may have been a bit of a scuffle and she came off second best ..if its just a superficial wound ,being in the mouth it should heal ok ....

Maybe you can see about rinsing the mouth to check for damage to the tounge? You've probably done this but, maybe check the mouths of the others too... Otherwise bleeding from the mouth should be treated very seriously...

Is your outdoor enclosure mesh? I've heard not to use mesh as they can rub their "snout" (for want of a better word) against it & hurt themselves.
Is the blood originating from outside her mouth, inside her mouth, or both? That'd give you a better idea of what may have happened.
