I have A blonde spotted, i keep finding it curled up in it's water bowl any ideas why ?? not to hot !

I read that they sometines lie in their waterbowls if they have mites.

some snakes do it if they get mites but some just love the water so when shes out check the water to make sure shes got no mites

yeah it could be mites or just like being in water, check the water bowl for little black things when it leaves the water

One of my spotteds is vertially a water python. I have to clean him out every two days as he just loves to get in and out of his water bowl. It can be a warning that the enclosure is too hot or have mites etc etc but it may just like water.

If you think the snake has mites, place in a white pillow case for a hour or so,after that time check the inside of pillow case,as the mites are darker in colour you should be able to see them...Theres a number of situations a snake can sit in water bowl,he-she is to hot, today and yesterday i understand...Mites....about to shed...once you eliminate any of those you may find your answer...MARK
