Hey my new woma hatchling (about 1 and a half months) did a poo today and when i checked it there was the tiniest drop of blood (barely noticeable). Should i be concerned about this. and also there was alot of fluid around where she pooped, it looked like water. Do i have to be concerned about this also. (Sorry there was no photos) Thanks Joel

The fluid is normal, as they poo/pee out of the same place. Are you sure it was blood? Was it part of the poo, or separate?

maybe it was just a bit of mouse? next time when he poops see if there is any blood ,
also how is its umm pooper? does it look bad in any way swollen, dirty?

What do you mean by pooper? Do you mean its cloaca, if so then i didnt really check i will once she settles in a bit more she is still a bit stressed.

Just checked her then, her cloaca looks fine, its not dirty or swollen.

Would it be fine if i feed her two pinkies cuz all i have is pinkies atm.
just for future reference aim for around 15-25% of the snakes body weight , if your worried about the size of the food compared to the size of the snakes head and neck then dont be overly worried someone on here once said that if your snakes necks around the size of a permanent marker than they can fit something as round as a toilet roll down , not that you want to make it jam huge food items down its throat but you'd be surprised what they can fit in , look up some footage of snakes eating things like dears if you haven't already seen similar vids

Yeah ive seen them videos and thanks for the advice. Btw how do you weigh your snakes, what brand of scales because it would have to be accurate for such a light weight snake

his going to weigh a bit , it will be in grams but it will register they dont need to be too high tech if its off a gram or 2 then its not going to matter i just use a pair of kitchen scales from big-w cost around $25 just check that they do grams most will and that their maximum load isnt some thing ridiculously low like 100grams

as for actually weighing them the first time i stupidly tried just sitting them on the scale platform:facepalm::oops: doesn't work , get yourself a container like your click clack and sit that on the scales , then tare off the weight of the tub and sit the animal in

Hahaha yeah i realised you would have to put it in a tub. Thanks i will go get some.

Any scales will do as long as they weigh in 1g increments. I bought some from Harris scarfe for $10 (half price) and then just use a Chinese take away tub to sit her in. My little tanami hatchy was born in November. He is one velvet/ fuzzy rats. I think that is the equivalent of weaner mice, although not too sure.

It really is amazing what they can fit in. When I first fed my Uluru his rat, I thought the breeder had told me the wrong size. But sure enough he smashed it down no problem.
