today the nextdoor neibours cat caught a bobtail but it bit the cat. The bobtail then ran under our decking. Is there anyway i can lure it out with baits or like stinkbombs. As i would like to catch it and realese it back to the bush down the road.Im not sure if it will come out by its self as it looked pretty frightned.

We found a bluetounge in a trench of a slab we were pouring the other day.
I poked a piece of Rio at it and it latched on biting it which let me lift him right out of the trench and into some nearby bush.
Worth a try I suppose.

Stink bombs or poking with rio is not the best idea. Just let him be, he will decide where to hide out.

If it got in, it can get out, it'll be OK.

Stinkbombs???? That's a new one.....

yep..they have the distinguished rep of having the most names of any animal in Australia...also called stumpytail..sleepylizard...aboriginal names include waramul and mannggay.

Actually...I would like to see us use Aboriginal names for all our native flora and fauna for which they have a name as they saw them first and named them...only fair.

I hope the stinkbomb crack was a joke, Not funny! Its nice to hear the exotic pest and predator receiving a bite back from out natives, good stuff!
