last night i had my childrens python in its feeding tub, after i fed her, i left the room and came back 5 minuets later and to find her striking repeatedly at the side of the tub. now, her bottom lip has curled back about 2mm and i sent pictures to my auntie Dearne, whom has snakes and she said her teeth were out of line from striking... what should i do, i was going to ring sugar laof vets today????: :rolleyes:

I had this happen with one of our coastals & when I had a closer look we found her lip was stuck on her tooth so it might be worth having a look to see if thats whats happened.

We have a jungle that strikes all the time, and sometimes his lip peels back too, but it goes back into place after a while. Keep an eye on the snake and if the problem doesn't correct itself call the vet.
