Just looking at the above quotes for freight and thought that maybe the shipping could be reduced dramatically if they were sent flat packed. personally I would have no problem with saving some extra cash and assembling it myself.

Yes most people stack the enclosure up - Like a 1200 x 600 on the bottom and the two 600x 600 on top or I just put a divider in the middle. So you get a bank and yes I can also make a bank 2,3,6 etc.

I some times send the enclosures out flat pack - it's just a lot more work for me and its not so likely it will get damaged when sent whole. I.E thermostats, light fittings. Only had one get damage so fare but it look more like they hit the light fittings with a hammer:?

But saying all that yes I'm happy to flat pack.
