breeding BHP help

hi guys i am wanting to breed my 6 yr old BHP pair i have read the BHP section in keeping and breeding Australian reptiles like 5 times and searched the web but im on sure on 2 main things was hoping some one with XP could help me out

i have read that u introduce the male to the female at the start of may to mid july but i have read 2 things
1 leave them for the hole mating time
2 is to introduce for a few days remove the male for 1-2 days and re introduce for a few days
what is best and is it 100% the start of may as i have read it also is june lol

the other problem im having is cooling can someone please explain this as i can not find info on this for the BHP anywere when do i start it what temps and i def dont feed them while in cooling do i

im also going to try breeding my womas is the cooling proses the same for them aswell as i have to get it right with them cuz my male is young idk if he will mate or not and wont to make sure i have it all right so i know if it was cuz of maturaty or not

any other tips u guys might have will be great
