okay so i have a pair of dcp and they are about 2.5 years old around 1.5/6 meters long and i think i might try and breed them this year
but i cant seem to find much information on breeding them
what i need to know is what months should i cool them then heat them back up and introduce the male,
this is my first breeding project as well and i have the book keeping and breeding aussie pythons so if its easier you could refer to it
cheers cam

jump on souther X reptiles and read doc rocs articles, it covers all the basic you need to know

Cool and hibernate end of April, lady feed Anzac day.
Turn off lights and keep in a quiet section.
Start introducing light mid August.
Add heat end of August.
Wait till first deficate . Feed twice then introduce male/female

The amount of cooling for Darwin's is debatable, some people are of the opinion cool them right down, others cool slightly. Darwin's are from a tropical environment where it is still warm even in winter at different time through the day. Some people still provide basking site of 31-33c but reduce the basking time to a couple of hours a day.

I never cooled my darwins and they bred every year. Make sure she get a very good feed before the male goes in at that size.

At 1.5 metres shes still very small be like like a 12yr old girl having a kid. so definitely feed her right up as suggested above because she wont feed after mating and at that size might end up in trouble because she may not have enough weight/strength/energy to produce viable eggs
